Content Team

Main Responsibilities

Scriptwriting: Finalize the script, including character development, plot structure, and dialogue. This team will also write additional content needed for weekly updates to engage the audience on social media.

Plan Weekly Content Creation

Develop and plan content such as behind-the-scenes features, character teasers, short video clips, and blog posts to promote the project weekly. Using the Production Team to help.

Copywriting and Music

Write all promotional materials, including website copy, newsletters, and social media updates. If songs are needed for the film or the marketing campaign, this team will write original Christmas and theater songs for the production.

Educational Content

Collaborate with the education team to create brochures, guidelines, and onboarding materials for new members, as well as for future community film efforts.

Marketing Team

Strategy Development

Create an overarching marketing strategy for the film, ensuring community engagement over the course of the year. This includes planning out timelines and marketing phases for different parts of the project (pre-release, teasers, and post-release content).

Social Media Management

Build and maintain an active online presence across platforms, continuously engaging with the audience through updates, contests, and promotions.

Creative Campaigns

Work with the content team to come up with innovative promotional ideas. Develop viral content, trailers, and interactive posts that attract attention to the project.

Promotional Materials and Media Relations

Design posters, logos, banners, and other branding materials. Work closely with the production team to capture stills and video clips for marketing use. Develop relationships with local media outlets to promote the film and the ongoing community film effort.

Crowdfunding Campaigns

Collaborate with the business team to run successful Kickstarter campaigns and other fundraising efforts.

Business Management & Fundraising Team

Sponsor Relations and Fundraising

Develop and maintain relationships with local sponsors and businesses who can either fund or provide in-kind services for the film. Plan and execute fundraising events (like screenings of past films, auctions, or community events) to raise money.

Merchandising and Kickstarter

Develop and run an online merchandise store tied to the film and broader CFP brand. Work closely with the marketing team to create and manage crowdfunding campaigns, overseeing the budget and rewards for backers.

Financial Oversight and Recruitment

Manage the budget, ensuring that funds are allocated properly across teams, and track all expenses. Handle recruitment efforts, especially for positions that require specialized skills (like experienced filmmakers or marketing experts). This includes posting job calls and organizing interviews.

Website Management

Update and maintain the organization's website, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date. Collaborate with the graphic designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly webpages. Implement SEO strategies to improve the website's visibility and drive traffic to the site.

Production Team

Film Production

Oversee all aspects of the actual film production, including casting, location scouting, and shooting. The production team will be responsible for ensuring that the feature film is completed on time and with high-quality production standards. They will assign roles to those on other teams to help complete the film production.

Event Management and Content Creation

Organize and run CFP-related events, such as behind-the-scenes workshops, community screenings, or cast-and-crew Q&A sessions. Collaborate with the marketing team to shoot additional content needed for promotional purposes, including trailers, behind-the-scenes footage, and interviews with cast and crew.

Post-Production and Technical Support

Handle all editing, sound design, and visual effects. Ensure that the film is completed according to the timeline (6-8 months). Work with the education and content teams to help with their technical needs (e.g., filming educational materials or promotional videos).

Ensure smooth communication between all teams, acting as the liaison for any issues that arise and keeping everyone informed of progress and changes.
