Kara Jensen as Shannon Dossett
Kara is thrilled to be stepping into filmmaking for the first time! With a background in Theatre Arts and a BS from Weber State University, she’s classically trained in vocal performance as well as Modern and Contemporary Musical Theatre. She has spent years exploring the power of storytelling through music and performance and loves learning about people, and their different backgrounds. She’s performed on numerous community theatre stages across the Wasatch Front and continues to nurture creativity in others through private voice and acting lessons. Memorable past roles include Lady Macduff in Macbeth , Emily in Our Town, The Samaritan Woman in He Is Jesus Christ, and the Sour Kangaroo in Seussical. Ryan Pearce as
Detective H. Michael Redding
Ryan has been a SAG-AFTRA actor with television credits including Promised Land and a featured reenactment on America’s Most Wanted. He’s appeared in short films such as Hero to Me and The Player, collaborating with independent filmmakers across Utah. Ryan thrives on the creative process of becoming a character—bringing the writer and director’s vision to life with authenticity and heart. He deeply values the connections formed with fellow movie makers and actors/actresses and the vibrant community that surrounds the craft.
William McAllister as Chad Bunkford
Will is a big fan of telling stories. Working together with a group of dedicated people to help tell a tale -- there is just nothing else like it. Some of Will's recent roles include Peter Shaw in the Parker Theatre's Silent Sky, Harpo Hart in Kirby Saxton's miniseries Four Kings, and the Pale Face Killer in Witching Season Films' most recent feature, He Never Left. Will is massively grateful to his incredible wife, Zel, for being ever-supportive as he runs about from film shoot to theater stage in order to scratch his storytelling itch.
Jacci Florence as Dottie Bunkford
Jacci has been performing from very young age coming from a family with a big theatrical background. A few of her favorite roles are Miss Hannigan in Annie, Dolly Levi in Dolly, Wicked Witch of the West in Wizard of Oz, Abbie in Arsenic and Old Lace, Carmen in Curtain and continues to perform yearly in Scrooge, A Christmas Carol as the Spirit of Christmas Past. Jacci along with her husband Kim own and operate Beverly's Terrace Plaza Playhouse. She's very excited to be part of her first ever film adventure.
Justin Cook as Dave Seamons
Originally from Los Lunas, New Mexico, Justin is a lover of both film & theatre. He began onstage in The Nutcracker with the Southwest Ballet Company at age four, and has worked in film production both in front of and behind the scenes for over twenty years. Justin has an MFA in film directing & screenwriting from Columbia University. He and his wife Brecken are the proud parents of four sons and have tried to raise them with a healthy appreciation of the arts.
Savannah Shapiro as Judy Richey
Savannah Shapiro discovered her love for performing at just eight years old and has since appeared in over 30 stage productions, three films, at the Broadway Junior Theatre Festival, and multiple performances at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. In addition to acting, she has also enjoyed working behind the scenes as an assistant director and choreographer.
Beyond the stage and screen, Savannah is a dedicated Family Advocate for Head Start, the owner of Savvy & Chic Boutique, and the creator behind @savvysavfinds where she shares her favorite places, food, experiences, and hidden gems across Utah. She’s passionate about great cinematography, live music, and spending quality time with her husband and two little ones. Savannah is thrilled to step into the role of Judy Richey in this production!
Maurice Navarro as G. Tommy Hunter
Maurice F. Navarro. TV & Film credits include: The Chosen (Dallas Jenkins), The Promised Land (Mitch Hudson), Cobra Kai (Counterbalance Entertainment), A Piece of Silver (Alan Peterson), Out of the Cattle (Elham Abd-Alaziz), among others, including numerous commercials. Maurice has trained at The Actors Workshop with Michael Flynn, BIPOC Acting Workshop with Epoca, with Lynn Sharon, and at the Hale Studios, including their voiceover and dialect courses. He currently is enrolled in the Actors In Action Conservatory program studying Stanislavski, Meisner, Liechty Acting Technique, Voice & Movement as well as Scene Study and Audition Technique, etc. A fluent Spanish speaker, he is also conversational in German. The father of five amazing children, Maurice loves sports, the outdoors and the transcendent beauty of space.

Jefferson Tuke as Charlie Adams Jr.
Jefferson Tuke is a seasoned vocalist and actor with over 25 years of professional experience in music, theatre, and film. A finalist on American Idol and frontman for the internationally recognized band The Groove Merchants, Jefferson began his career collaborating in the studio with Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas while developing his first original album. He has since shared stages with The Beach Boys, OneRepublic, and Steve Augeri (Journey), and has appeared as an on-screen spokesperson for several major brands. His work blends authenticity, charisma, and a lifelong passion for storytelling across every medium.
Doug Brunnette as Maxwell Grover
Doug looks forward to playing the part of Maxwell! He has enjoyed performing since his high school days when he played the part of Mortimer in “Arsenic and Old Lace.” He is a professionally trained voice-over artist specializing in book narrations.
Megan Martin as Alison Langley
Megan Martin stars as Alison Langley, the theatre’s bold, ghost-believing, and ever-curious conspiracy theorist. Megan’s love for storytelling began in childhood, performing in Much Ado About Nothing, Princess What’s Her Name, and The Tempest. A devoted singer-songwriter, she’s been creating music since she was a kid and hopes to record and produce her own songs soon. Offstage, Megan loves hiking, survival adventures, art, and writing, and is currently working on her 1950s murder mystery novel, White Lies and Apple Pies. She’s pursuing her bachelor’s degree at BYU Provo, exploring Psychology, English, and Music.
Reuben Cook as Ronald McArthur
While Reuben Cook is new to the world of film acting, he has been passionately dedicated to performing arts for the majority of his 19 years. He has contributed his talents to plays, musicals, symphonies, philharmonic orchestras, choirs, dance productions, poetry nights, and punk shows. He has also done some work in videography, audio production, and managing social events. His greatest loves include cinema, creative expression, and learning to understand others.

Randon Jensen as Uncle Royce Luff
Randon Jensen is grateful to appear as Royce Luff in Murder at the Lufferton Christmas Musical alongside his son, Grey (Lil’ Tyson). They can’t resist the combination of carols, chaos, and crime. Randon’s recent stage credits include Oliver! (Bill Sikes), Wait Until Dark (Mike Talman), and The Sound of Music (Admiral von Schreiber)—a résumé that clearly suggests he enjoys roles with either criminal tendencies or excellent posture. Fluent in the highly useful language of Norwegian and known for the art of looking suspicious while singing out of tune, Randon thanks the cast and crew for letting him bring a little Luff to this holiday mystery.
Ryan Boam as Collin Porter
Ryan loves to perform, and has been involved in plays, bands, and (more recently) movies since a very young age. Being a husband and father first was always the plan, so now finding small opportunities close to home to work with amazing people and have fun doing it is how the dream stays alive and well. You can see Ryan is various community theater productions (mainly Heritage Theatre in Perry), in the Community Film Project’s first feature “Before Your Time”, as well as making music on all the streaming music platforms under “Ryan Boam”.
Melinda McGraw as CaryAnne McArthur
Rooted in the beauty of Utah, Melinda draws peace and inspiration from nature—especially the landscapes surrounding Yellowstone, a place that has always captured her heart. A lifelong performer, she has appeared in community theatre productions such as Anne of Green Gables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Honk! and currently lends her voice to the Hope Box Choir. After stepping away from the stage to focus on raising her children, she’s delighted to return to storytelling through film, contributing both creatively and through marketing to the feature film Before Your Time. A licensed cosmetologist and registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree, Melinda blends artistry and empathy in everything she does. Deeply passionate about helping others—especially those with disabilities—she finds joy and balance through her family, baking, and time spent in the natural world.
Yunnie Kim as Hannah Langely
Yunnie has been involved in the arts all her life. From music to dance to theatre, she's excited to continue her love of creativity through film. She has participated in B-roll projects, one-off video projects, and was Agent Ho in the film "The Cold Ground" by Devin Hansen. "Really grateful for the opportunity to work with Community Film Project!"
Kim Florence as Lil Tyson's Grandpa
Kim has been a stage actor at Beverly’s Terrace Plaza Playhouse since opening in 1992 and loves the huge extended theater family of which he has become a part and which continues to grow. Kim has played Scrooge for 30 years at Beverly’s. He has also played parts in over 30 different shows having appeared now on stage over 1500 times. His roles include Daddy Warbucks, Capt. Von Trapp, Pirate King (Pirates of Penzance), Ben Rumson (Paint Your Wagon), the King in The King and I, as well as characters in Mary Poppins, Singing In The Rain and this year’s Little Mermaid. Kim says the best part of his participation is the extraordinary talent of those he has performed with. He says he loves and appreciates every one of them and their willingness to share their time and talents! Kim is known for his dry sense of humor.
Donna Radmall as Lil Tyson's Grandma
Performing has always been at the heart of who Donna is. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Choral Music Education, she has led a variety of choirs in schools, churches, and community settings, blending her love of teaching and music. She later earned a Master’s Degree in Integrated Teaching Through the Arts, expanding her creative reach. When she discovered community musical theatre, Donna found a new passion—appearing in roles such as Meg in Damn Yankees, Mrs. Winthrop in The Secret Garden, Sister Berta in The Sound of Music, Auntie Em in The Wizard of Oz, Elizabeth in Savior of the World, and even a broom in Beauty and the Beast! Now, at 72, she continues to embrace her artistry by studying music and composition and arranging heartfelt songs for her family, friends, and church.
Grey Jensen as Lil Tyson
Making his film debut in the Murder at the Lufferton Christmas Musical, Grey Jensen is delighted to bring his festive spirit (and maybe a clue or two) to the screen. His past roles include Oliver in Oliver!, Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol, and Olaf in Frozen Jr., along with many others. Grey loves playing soccer, watching soccer, talking about soccer, and spreading holiday cheer wherever he goes—both on screen and off.
