- Contest Overview 1.
- Contest Name: Oscar Prediction Contest 2025 a.
- Purpose: To test film knowledge by having entrants predict the winners of the 97th Academy Awards (March 2, 2025) b.
- Sponsor: Community Film Project (Note: This contest is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences). c.
- Eligibility 2.
- No purchase necessary. Open to eligible participants. Void where prohibited. a.
- Who Can Enter: Open to legal residents of the United States and Canada. b.
- Age Requirement: Entrants can be from the ages of 12+ to enter but entrants under 18 years of age may participate only with the express, verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian. In the event that a minor is selected as a winner, written consent must be provided by the parent or guardian within [X] days of notification. If such consent is not received by the deadline, the entry will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. c.
- Entry Limit: One entry per person; duplicate entries will be disqualified. d.

- Ends: When the Oscars begin on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 5 p.m. MST (as per the 97th Academy Awards schedule). ii.

- Entry Method: Complete the Online Ballot: Fill out the official prediction ballot on our website. a.
- Follow & Share: To qualify, you must also follow our official social media pages (links provided below) and share the contest announcement on your personal social media account. b.
- Submission Confirmation: Once your ballot is submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email. c.
- No Purchase Necessary: There is no purchase or payment required to enter this contest. d.
- Prediction & Scoring 5.
- Categories Covered: Entrants should predict winners in all major Oscar categories. a.
- Scoring: b.
- One point will be awarded for each correct prediction. i.
- In the event of a tie, additional tie-breaker questions on film trivia (provided on our website) will determine the winner. ii.
- Winner Determination: The entrant with the highest total score (or best tie-breaker score) when the Oscar winners are announced will be declared the winner. iii.
